Carnival... a time of excitement and magic. Are the things that seem to be real, truly there? - or are they illusions of the carnival itself? Listen as the singer's voice lures the sun to rise in the sky, and the sun pauses to listen to the sweet voice that charms all of nature, just as Orpheus' voice does in the story from Greek mythology!
Mañana de Carnaval
de RomanceS
Azul la mañana es azul
el sol si le llamo vendrá
se detendrá en mi voz
y hasta la eternidad
en su camino irá
hacia otro azul
Blue, the morning is clear blue.
If I call, the sun will come up,
it pauses at my voice (to listen),
-and all through eternity,
the sun will go along its path toward another bright blue day.
Después, yo no sé si hay después
si el sol volverá a despertar
porque la canción no ha de ser verdad
porque en carnaval
es que te busco yo
aunque no habrás de estar
y mentira tu voz en el azul
Afterwards... I don't know if there is an afterwards,
or if the sun will awaken again (because my song says it brings it)
for my song doesn't really have to be the truth
-because it's carnival time.
It's just that I search for you
even though you may not really be there,
and your voice is an illusion from out of the blue.
Después, yo no sé si hay después
si el sol volverá a despertar
porque la canción no ha de ser verdad
porque en carnaval
Afterwards... I don't know if there is an afterwards,
if the sun will awaken again (because my song says it brings it)
for my song doesn't really have to be the truth
-because it's carnaval time.
Cantará el corazón, la razón de vivir
cantará sin hablar, ni sentir
My heart will sing, (that's) its reason for living,
-it will sing without words, without regret...
